Noel was introduced to Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta five years ago by fellow volunteer Clem Leforce. Noel has volunteered with many Habitat builds, special events and fundraisers. Now, he helps out at the Medicine Hat ReStore and is willing to lend a hand when needed.

Johnathan has volunteered 220 hours since he began working with us in May! He enjoys skateboarding, interior painting, seasonal decorating, video games and he is an attentive big brother to his foster siblings.

We first met Dennis at our ReStore booth in the Fall Trade Show of 2014. He started volunteering two days per week, and was enjoying it so much that he extended it to three!

Retirement means different things to different people. For some, it is a chance to travel the world, seeing spectacular things and meeting fascinating people. For others, it’s a chance to spend more time with their families, try new things or catch up on their ever-expanding reading lists.

Dana is a true adventurer. Now that her three boys have grown up she spends her days outside hiking, kayaking and working in the garden. When she isn’t off on some incredible adventure she can be found volunteering with the construction of new Habitat homes in Calgary, High River, or around the world as a Team Leader with Global Village.

Everyone loves Docia, and it’s not just because she brings baking into the Habitat for Humanity ReStore every Thursday. Docia’s energy fills any room she’s in, inspiring smiles, laughter and spontaneous hugging. When she isn’t at the ReStore, she applies her passion for helping others to her church and local political campaigns.

Dennis is an outstanding Chapter member in Mountain View County. He and his wife have lived in Olds for 37 years and feel a strong sense of pride in their community. So, in 2009, when he heard about the first Habitat for Humanity project starting in the town, he knew he had to find out what it was all about.
