Volunteer Spotlight: Noel Thomas

Posted by Habitat Admin on Jan 14, 2016 1:40:16 PM

Noel ThomasNoel was introduced to Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta five years ago by fellow volunteer Clem Leforce. Noel has volunteered with many Habitat builds, special events and fundraisers. Now, he helps out at the Medicine Hat ReStore and is willing to lend a hand when needed.

Noel likes fishing, playing tennis and golfing (preferably in the warmer States) and he loves to read. His past volunteering experiences include fundraising for sports and the Friends of McCoy Society. Presently Noel helps with the maintenance of the Medicine Hat Tennis Club.

When asked why he likes to volunteer with our organization, he replied: “I like to keep busy, there’s no pressure, the work is enjoyable, the people are great to work with and they’re always fun!”

We’re very thankful that Noel chooses to spend his time volunteering with Habitat!
