Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta’s Mountain View Chapter officially broke ground on its 10th and 11th homes with a new duplex in the Town of Olds. The duplex will be located at 4826 52 St in Olds, AB, and will provide two local families with the opportunity to build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.

Habitat for Humanity Mountain View Chapter is hosting an Open House on Thursday, February 9 for all community members to learn about the new exciting opportunities with Habitat for Humanity. This event will run from 7:00 to 8:30 pm at the Olds Municipal Library.

Habitat for Humanity Brooks Chapter is hosting an Open House on Wednesday, February 22 for all community members to learn about the new exciting opportunities with Habitat for Humanity. This event will run from 6:00 to 7:30 pm at the Medicine Hat College, Room 107.

Calgary’s faith communities are coming together to organize two significant concerts in the New Year to support Habitat families. The concerts will take place on February 11 and 12 2017 at Knox United Church and Beth Tzedec Synague and will feature the talents of singers and musicians of different faiths from across Calgary.

Habitat for Humanity welcomed two families into their new Habitat homes today at a celebration in the community of Redstone. In addition to being affordable, the homes are also accessible to meet the needs of children in each of the families. Habitat was joined by many of the sponsors, suppliers, government supporters and volunteers who all had a role in the completion of these homes.

Habitat for Humanity welcomed six families into home ownership last week at a ceremony in the community of Ravenswood in Airdrie. In attendance were many of the sponsors, suppliers, trades, and community partners who contributed to make home ownership a reality for these six families.
