Pineridge Place, Calgary

This development is a new project that is located in the northeast Calgary community of Pineridge. The project will consist of six four‐plexes. Currently we have finished two four-plexes, and another two are being under construction.

Each unit will be approximately 1,030 sq. ft., with three bedrooms and one bath on the second floor, a half‐bath on the main level as well as kitchen and living spaces. The homes will be in close proximity to the Peter Lougheed hospital, Sunridge shopping mall, schools, services and public transportation. The homes will be built using energy saving building practices to an equivalent of a Build Green Gold level and thus reducing overall costs for utilities and water.

The construction process is going pretty fast for both buildings Building D and Building C.

Building D

We’re getting appliances on Wednesday and the home is expected to be ready for occupancy by the end of February.

Currently, trades are working on the roof and they expect it to be finished by the end of this week. After this, we’ll start working on insultation and drywall which is scheduled to be done by the end of January.

Our need for volunteers is minimal and most of the work will be indoor including insulation and drywall.

Bowness, Calgary

Bowness development an exciting project that is located in the northwest Calgary community of Bowness. The project will consist of one six‐plex and expected to be finished later this year.

Each unit will be approximately 1,000 sq. ft., with three bedrooms. The units will be in close proximity to public transportation and parkways. All units will be built using energy saving building practices to an equivalent of a Build Green Gold level and thus reducing overall costs for utilities and water.

Work on the new six-plex is going well according to the construction schedule. We’ve had some challenges with the cold weather, but now the weather is promising to become warmer.

Same as last week, most of the work will be focused on exterior and interior framing, and flooring.
