Mary Joy and Rommel wanted a home where their children could grow up with opportunity and security. Community support helped them purchase an affordable Habitat for Humanity home, and just a few months in, they’re already seeing the difference in their children’s lives.

Kelsey has built a full, happy life for her son, Jayden, in Cochrane. Through Habitat’s affordable homeownership program, they are preparing to buy a home of their own, without the worry of if they will be able to stay.

For Mohammad and Zuhra, patience, hard work and perseverance have brought their family one step closer to homeownership. After immigrating to Canada, building new careers and working toward Habitat’s homeownership program, they are now waiting for their new home to be completed—a home that will give their family greater financial stability and the freedom to plan for their future.
