Find out what you can donate to Habitat ReStores

If you're cleaning, remodeling or downsizing and find items you no longer use but are still in great condition, donate them to Habitat ReStore! Use the guide below to find out what you can donate. 

Items you can donate:

  • Furniture
  • Appliances (small and large, newer than 10 years old)
  • Building materials such as usable lumber, new drywall, insulation, etc.
  • Kitchen and bathroom cabinets
  • Doors and windows
  • Unopened flooring
  • Home decor items
  • Sinks, faucets, bathtubs, and showers
  • New lighting and electrical supplies
  • Hardware and tools
  • New windows

We're unable to accept:

  • Clothing or bedding
  • Electronics
  • Items exposed to cigarette smoke or pet hair
  • Used windows
  • Used window coverings (curtains, blinds, etc.)
  • Dirty or rotten lumber
  • Stained or damaged items
  • Used flooring
  • Mattresses, sofa beds, or futons
  • Box springs
  • Used lighting
  • Used toilets

How it works

There are three easy ways to donate:

You can request a donation pick-up for your home or business using our online form.

Call us at (403) 291-6764 x 4 to discuss your donation and arrange a pick-up.

Drop off your donation during business hours at any of our three ReStore locations.
