Industry Build is an initiative, which began in 2023, to bring participants from companies across Southern Alberta together to build affordable homes in our community. This is an exciting opportunity to engage with fellow members of the energy sector for an experience that will improve the communities we live in.
In 2023, Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta welcomed more than 100 volunteers from six Calgary companies over the course of the event to build affordable homes in the northeast Calgary neighbourhood of Cornerstone. We are proud to announce that these homes are now completed and occupied by hard working local families who are now members of their new community.
The 2024 Industry Build event will take place in the north Calgary neighbourhood of Livingston. Habitat recently broke ground on the 24 unit development, with 12 homes scheduled to be completed near the end of 2024.
As a Sponsor you will directly impact the lives of future Habitat homeowners. Industry Build sponsorship gives you, and your team members, a hands-on opportunity to build a Habitat home while also covering construction costs. Your brand will reach thousands of people and build your reputation as a community-minded business. Sponsorship benefits include marketing opportunities, employee engagement, and a rewarding team-building experience. An investment in Industry Build is an investment in your team members, your community, and your corporate brand.
We would like to sincerely thank all 2023 sponsors for their support of our inaugural Industry Build in 2023!
