What is Women Build?

Here in Southern Alberta, Women Build brings together women from all walks of life, leaders, tradespeople, and community members, to learn new skills, break barriers in construction, and make a lasting difference in local communities.

Sponsoring Women Build is a powerful way to support affordable homeownership and show your commitment to women in leadership and the trades. Your sponsorship includes:

  • Brand visibility through signage, social media, and event coverage
  • Opportunities for employees to participate on-site
  • Recognition in Habitat publications and digital channels
  • A direct impact on building safe, affordable homes for local families

Your support helps break down barriers and build stronger communities—one home at a time.

Women Build Participant

I am humbled and honoured to work side by side with Habitat for Humanity volunteering every year at Women Build. To swing a hammer with recipient families and hear their stories is inspiring. It’s my favourite day of the year, and I love to participate in some small way in changing the lives of local families and their children.
