Future Habitat homeowners Ali and Ilknur are looking forward to putting down roots – both literally and metaphorically. One of the very first things they plan on doing when they move into their brand-new home in Chestermere next year is to build raised beds to plant their own vegetable garden.

Susan is always up for a challenge. Whether she’s volunteering at the Habitat ReStore, training for Special Olympics, or spending time with her twin sister Paula and her dog Milo, she does it all with a big heart and lots of energy!

At the end of May, over 100 volunteers traded laptops and boardrooms for tool belts and hard hats at Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta’s Industry Build 2025. Among them were 30 team members from Ovintiv, returning for their third consecutive year as Presenting Sponsor.
