To all of our thrifty shoppers, with open (but distant) arms we welcome you back to Restore. It’s been a few months and, like you, we’ve been cooped up at home itching to get started on that next DIY project.
After spending an extended period of time inside, chances are you’re noticing things around your home you hadn’t noticed before. Noticing things like the empty corner that’s been staring back at you that could really use an armchair or the hallway that’s a little dark and could use an updated light fixture.
All minor things before COVID hit, but major now that it’s all you’ve seen for months on end.

We know you’re eager to get back to your projects and make use of your idle hands. And while you might not be able to show off your completed projects, you can still find those once-loved pieces to restore them. Because they will once again (in the future) be the conversation starters at any party. Conversations that usually end in your guest shocked that, as usual, you’ve pulled the project off at such an unbelievably low budget.

Here’s what we’re doing to keep you safe while you shop for your next great find at ReStore.

- Limiting customer traffic and reminding you with signage to keep 2m apart
- Placing arrows signalling directional traffic
- Using plexiglass barriers at our tills
- To keep our stores clean and sanitized we’re
- Providing hand sanitizer at our entrances
- Sanitizing all shopping carts and baskets after each use
- Sanitizing pinpads and check-out counters after each use
- Focusing extra cleaning on high-touch areas like surfaces, shelves and appliances
- Closing our customer washrooms for the time being
- Taking extra precautions with our staff and the areas they work in

In Calgary, you can even place your order online for contactless pick up at our North Calgary Store.
In Medicine Hat, we encourage you to check our social pages to browse the store’s selection. If you find something you love, come and pick it up with minimal contact.
