residentialReStore donors

See what you can donate

Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the best place to donate furniture, appliances, building materials and other household items.

Whether you are renovating your home, getting new furniture, or spring cleaning, consider donating your unwanted items to the ReStore and give your items a second life.

COVID-19 update

  • Curbside donation pick-up is available at the Calgary and Medicine Hat ReStores

Donate in two easy steps

1. Review the product donation guidelines

If you're not sure if your item meets our product donation guidelines, contact one of our three locations

We are always looking for donations, but sometimes we are unable to accept them due to extensive damage. Check your donations for any significant rips, tears, wear, stains, cigarette smoke or pet hair.

2. Drop-off your items to one of our three convenient locations

  • If your donation is large, please notify our team that your donation is on its way!
  • Request a free donation pick-up. Please note that we typically are booking 2 - 3 weeks out.

*Please do not leave you donations outside of the ReStore, this is considered dumping.

Tax Receipt

Tax receipts may be issues for donation with a retail value greater than $20. The value is assessed and determined by our receiving staff.

Electronic Recycling Program

Electronic items are not accepted as a donation, but you can drop off your unwanted electronics to our North Calgary location

Please note that all items will be inspected to make the final decision on whether or not we will be able to accept to your donation.
