See what you can donate

Habitat for Humanity ReStore is the best place to donate furniture, appliances, building materials and other household items.

Whether you are renovating your home, getting new furniture, or spring cleaning, consider donating your unwanted items to Habitat ReStore and give your items a second life.

Donate in two easy steps

1. Review our donation guidelines

If you're not sure if your item meets our product donation guidelines, contact one of our three locations

We are always looking for donations, but sometimes we are unable to accept them due to extensive damage. Check your donations for any significant rips, tears, wear, stains, cigarette smoke or pet hair.

2. Drop-off your items to one of our three convenient locations

  • If your donation is large, please notify our team that your donation is on its way!
  • For large items that won't fit in a vehicle, you can see if your donation qualifies for a free curbside pick-up. Please note that we typically are booking 2-3 weeks out.

*Please do not leave you donations outside of the Habitat ReStores, this is considered dumping.

Tax Receipt

Tax receipts may be issues for donations with a retail value greater than $150. The value is assessed and determined by our donation team.

Your donation helps local families through Habitat for Humanity

Proceeds from the Habitat ReStore go to Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta to help local families purchase their first home through an affordable mortgage.
