Habitat for Humanity was established in Brooks in 1999 to help families enter the housing market by purchasing homes through our affordable mortgage. Since then, 12 local families have purchased an affordable home.
We are expecting to break ground in 2019, and the project is expected to be complete later this year.
This build will be a celebration of our 20th year, so stay tuned for exciting updates!
We currently have two volunteer opportunities within our committee:
Please get in touch if you're interested in learning more about these opportunities, and one of our committee members will connect with you.
Events help to raise both funds and awareness about Habitat in Brooks. Whether you want to organize a school bake sale, hold a fun run, or even a birthday party, you’ll be contributing to a better future for families in your community.
You can make a tax-deductible donation of funds, building materials or land.
We'd love to hear from you!
"This home is a new beginning for my kids and I. I can't thank our friends, family and community enough for helping us secure what we needed for this incredible opportunity.
