The city's affordable rental agencies have ongoing and lengthy waitlists for their rental units. Habitat for Humanity was established in Brooks in 1999 to help families enter the housing market by purchasing homes through our affordable mortgage. Since then, 12 local families have purchased an affordable home.
We are expecting to break ground in the spring of 2019, and the project is expected to be complete by the end of Ocotber 2019. This build will be a celebration of our 20th year, so stay tuned for exciting updates in 2018!
