The city's affordable rental agencies have ongoing and lengthy waiting lists for their rental units.
Habitat for Humanity was established in Brooks in 1999 to help families enter the housing market by purchasing homes through our affordable mortgage. Since then, 14 local families have purchased an affordable home.
We are proud to have completed the Brooks Duplex in the Fall of 2023, with both families taking possession shortly after. We currently do not have any builds in progress in Brooks.

Events help to raise both funds and awareness about Habitat in Brooks. Whether you want to organize a school bake sale, hold a fun run, or even a birthday party, you’ll be contributing to a better future for families in your community.

Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is a non-profit organization that helps families build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.
