At this orientation, you'll learn how Habitat works, the affordable housing problem we're addressing in Southern Alberta, and how you can be part of the solution!
The session is about an hour and a half, including a Q & A and afterwards, you'll receive a link to register as a volunteer and sign up for shifts.
Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is a non-profit organization that helps families build strength, stability and independence through affordable home ownership.
In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge that we live, work and play on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani), the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, the Métis Nation (Region 3), and all people who make their homes in the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta.
