Evanston, Calgary, AB
Habitat Southern Alberta is excited to begin construction on our new development in Evanston. It will comprise of two semi-detached homes in which four local families will call home. Each house will be approximately 1,030 sq. ft. and will meet the building specifications and architectural design requirements of the community. Construction will begin in October 2012 and is slated to be completed by Spring/Summer 2013. These homes will be the fifth to eighth Habitat homes in the Evanston community. Calgary Housing Rebuilds
Through this unique initiative, HFH SA has acquired five single family homes in well established communities close to schools, public transit and community resources. The homes will be “rebuilt” and completely renovated inside and out, and upgraded to meet a minimum Gold Standard though the Built Green Canada program.
Medicine Hat Chapter
Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta is excited to bring much needed affordable housing to Medicine Hat and has started construction on a single family home in the North Flaps neighbourhood in Summer 2012.
